Below are the steps to accomplish this:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Transactions<\/h4>\n<p>Locate the transaction that needs to be refunded. You can do this several ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By clicking on \u201cTransactions\u201d at the top of the screen, then search for the account holder by name<\/li>\n<li>Use the Universal Search box at the top of the screen and type the first or last name of the account holder and hit Return.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cManage Transaction\u201d in the side menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Either of these options will bring you to Transaction History for the account holder. From here you can locate the \u201cReconciled\u201d transaction that you need to refund and click the \u201cpencil\u201d action icon to Edit this transaction.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cashlinqhelpdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Refund.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1594\" src=\"https:\/\/cashlinqhelpdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Refund-300x164.jpg\" alt=\"Refund\" width=\"300\" height=\"164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clqhelpdesk.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Refund-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/clqhelpdesk.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Refund.jpg 664w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After you click the Edit icon you will view the details of the transaction and what actions are available. Enter the refund amount and a reason for the refund. The refund reason will be visible in reporting for future reference.
