{"id":37,"date":"2014-05-16T01:19:35","date_gmt":"2014-05-16T01:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cashlinqsupport.com\/helpdesk\/?p=37"},"modified":"2014-05-16T01:19:35","modified_gmt":"2014-05-16T01:19:35","slug":"users-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cashlinqhelpdesk.com\/?p=37","title":{"rendered":"Users Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<header>\n<p class=\"entry-title\">This section displays the available options for creating and managing other users in the Qsuite, or changing your own password.<\/p>\n<p class=\"entry-title\">\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h4>Change My Password<\/h4>\n<p>Reset\/update your password.\u00a0 When changing your password, you must abide by the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You cannot use one of your last 4 passwords.<\/li>\n<li>Must be between 6-50 characters long.<\/li>\n<li>Must contain at least one (1) UPPERCASE letter.<\/li>\n<li>Must contain at least one (1) lowercase letter.<\/li>\n<li>Must contain at least one (1) number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Special characters are permitted, but not required.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Click [Reset Password] to save your changes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Manage Users<\/h4>\n<p>Navigate to the list of Users set up in your Qsuite.\u00a0 Using the Actions icons on this table, you can Edit a user\u2019s permissions, Copy a user to create a new user with identical permissions, Reset a user\u2019s password, Unlock a user, or Delete a user.\u00a0 If you have more than 10 users, you can navigate to additional pages in the table by selecting a page number at the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n<p>To create a new user, click on + Add New User.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Add a User<\/h4>\n<p>Create a new user account for your Qsuite.\u00a0 The email will be used to help a user reset their own password via email, as well as determine where the notifications for that user are sent.\u00a0 Each of your users will need a unique username.\u00a0 Permissions should be restricted to the role and functions that a particular user needs. Permissions can be edited afterwards as needed. \u00a0Select the permissions and user notifications by checking the relevant boxes and click [Add] to save the new user.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>User Permissions<\/h4>\n<p>Qsuite User Permissions are based on the Qsuite products you use.\u00a0 The following defines each of the permissions available in Q.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Full Access<\/h4>\n<p>Check full access to quickly create an administrative user with all permissions checked (excluding permissions based on specific pages, since full access can manage all pages).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Admin<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Users &amp; Permissions:\u00a0 Create and manage other users and their permissions. Reset Qsuite user passwords.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Profiles:\u00a0 Create and manage donor Profiles.\u00a0 Reset your Profile User passwords.<\/li>\n<li>Categories &amp; Subcategories:\u00a0 Create and manage categories and subcategories.<\/li>\n<li>Communications:\u00a0 Customize and control email communications from your Qsuite.<\/li>\n<li>Event Settings:\u00a0 Create and manage your Event Types, Coordinators, and Locations used when creating Events in EventQ.<\/li>\n<li>Manage All Pages:\u00a0 Manage all available pages, including Giving Pages, Custom Pages, Event Pages, and Tuition Pages.\u00a0 If you need to create a user who will not see other products\u2019 activity, then you will need to use Manage Specific Pages and assign the page(s) as they are created.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Specific Pages:\u00a0 You can assign management permissions based on individual Giving Pages, Custom Pages, Event Pages, and Tuition Pages. \u00a0This is an important permission to limit what a users sees.\u00a0 For instance, this user would not see activity graphs on the Home page since this does not filter by page or event.\u00a0 Reporting access will also be limited to only show transactions related to the pages that the user has permission to manage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Reporting<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Save Reports: Can save report templates for personal and shared use.<\/li>\n<li>Financial\/Recon:\u00a0 Access to financial and recon reporting.<\/li>\n<li>DonateQ:\u00a0 Access to DonateQ reporting.<\/li>\n<li>EventQ:\u00a0 Access to EventQ reporting.<\/li>\n<li>CustomQ:\u00a0 Access to CustomQ reporting.<\/li>\n<li>TuitionQ:\u00a0 Access to TuitionQ reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Billing Statements:\u00a0 Can view and print Billing Statements. &#8211; This is an upcoming Feature! &#8211;<\/li>\n<li>SmoothPay:\u00a0 Access to SmoothPay batch detail reports.<\/li>\n<li>Profiles:\u00a0 Access to Profile reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>DonateQ<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Transactions:\u00a0 View and manage DonateQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Donations:\u00a0 Enter new DonateQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Giving Pages:\u00a0 Create new Giving Pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>EventQ<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Transactions:\u00a0 Edit and manage registrations and EventQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Registrations:\u00a0 Add new registrations to a live Event.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Events:\u00a0 Edit and manage existing Events.<\/li>\n<li>Add Events:\u00a0 Create new Events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>CustomQ<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Transactions:\u00a0 View and manage CustomQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Transactions:\u00a0 Enter new CustomQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Payment Pages:\u00a0 Create new Custom Pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>TuitionQ<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Transactions:\u00a0 View and manage TuitionQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Installments:\u00a0 Enter new TuitionQ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Add Tuition Pages:\u00a0 Create new Tuition Pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>User Notifications<\/h4>\n<p>Users can receive an email notification that includes the selected information they need from the following list.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New Profile:\u00a0 List of newly created Profiles created the day before.<\/li>\n<li>Upcoming Recurring:\u00a0 List of upcoming recurring transactions scheduled to run in 2 days.<\/li>\n<li>Ending Scheduled Transaction List:\u00a0 On the first day of the month, receive a list of transactions scheduled to have their last run in the next 90 days.<\/li>\n<li>Scheduled Transaction Expiring Card List:\u00a0 On the first day of the month, receive a list of credit card transactions tied to recurring transactions where the card will expire within the next 90 days.\u00a0 These are grouped by expiration in the next 30, 60, and 90 days.<\/li>\n<li>Daily Transaction Summary:\u00a0 Summary list of the previous day\u2019s transaction activity.\u00a0 This includes count and volume, but no specific donor data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">o\u00a0 Successful Transactions (including New Transactions)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">o\u00a0\u00a0 In Process eChecks (including New Transactions)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">o\u00a0\u00a0 Failed Transactions<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">o\u00a0\u00a0 Refunded Transactions<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">o\u00a0\u00a0 Voided
