{"id":98,"date":"2014-05-16T01:35:42","date_gmt":"2014-05-16T08:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cashlinqsupport.com\/helpdesk\/?p=98"},"modified":"2014-05-16T01:35:42","modified_gmt":"2014-05-16T08:35:42","slug":"why-did-a-transaction-fail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cashlinqhelpdesk.com\/?p=98","title":{"rendered":"Why did a transaction fail?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anytime you need to look up or review your failed transactions you will want to generate your Failed Transaction Report.<\/p>\n<p>Follow these steps to run your Failed Transaction Report:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0Click on \u201cReporting\u201d at the top of your Qsuite<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Click on \u201cFailed Transaction Report\u201d in Financial reporting<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0Enter you start and end dates (maximum of 90-days at a time) and click \u201cRun\u201d<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00a0Your report results will be display which you can choose to export to Excel if you choose.<\/p>\n<p>A common decline that you will see for credit card transactions will be a\u00a0\u201cDecline 12\u2033 which is the standard failure code for credit cards that decline. \u00a0Sometimes the issuing bank for the card will provide additional information along with the \u201cDecline 12\u2033 message. \u00a0For example, \u201cInvalid Account\u201d which would indicate they were issued a new card and their recurring gift will need to be updated with the new card information.<\/p>\n<p>Failed eCheck transactions will also reflect in this report.
