Event Settings Overview

This section appears for EventQ only.  These settings are used in the Event Builder to designate Event Types, Coordinators, and Locations that can later be used as reporting filters for Events.

Event Types

Manage existing or create new Event Types that can be used to organize your Events in EventQ reporting.  Event Types are used as reporting filters to group transactions.  Some examples are Concert, Golf Tournament, Family Camp, etc.  You can edit or delete an existing Event Type using the Actions icons in the table.

To create a new Event Type, just select + Add New Type, enter a name and description, and click [Add] to save it in the list.  The new type will then be available in the Event builder.

Coordinators

Manage existing or create new Event Coordinators for your Events in EventQ.  Event Coordinators are the main contacts for an Event.  They are the “Contact Us” for an Event’s notifications as well as the contact that is listed on the Event’s Registration Page.  You can edit or delete an existing Event Coordinator using the Actions icons in the table.  Check the “Receive confirmation emails” if you want the coordinator to be emailed copies of New Registration Confirmations.

To create a new Event Coordinator, just select on + Add New Coordinator, fill out the information, and click [Add] to save the coordinator to the list.  The new coordinator will then be available in the Event builder.

Note- Coordinator phone extensions can be added using “x” or “ext” and the number (Sample:  x000 or ext000) at the end.

Locations

Manage existing or create new Event Locations for your Events in EventQ.  Event Locations are where your Events will take place.  You can edit or delete an existing Event Location using the Actions icons in the table.

Note- Location phone extensions can be added using “x” or “ext” and the number (Sample:  x000 or ext000) at the end.

To create a new Event Location, just select + Add New Location, fill out the information, and click [Add] to save the location to the list.  The new location will then be available in the Event builder.
