Updating my Stored Account did not update my Recurring donation

It’s important to remember that when a donor stores an Account in their Profile, it is to provide convenience and ease for future giving. Once they log into their Profile to donate they can choose one of their stored accounts to complete their donation. Some assume that updating the stored account will update any recurring donations the donor may have processing. This is not the case. When a donor needs to change the Account their recurring gift is processing through, the Transaction Schedule for their recurring transaction needs to be updated.  Visit this article for help editing a Transaction Schedule.
